The Prinz Carl Parkhotel is suggested as a meeting hotel.

Both the railway station and the meeting place are within walking distance of the hotel. Depending on your luggage you may still consider to use a taxi.

On the evening of the 19th a wine tasting event will be organized at the Weingut Ulrich Goldschmidt in Worms-Pfeddersheim, a vineyard that specializes in ecological wine growing. Details will be provided in due time.

Travel to Worms

Via Air to Frankfurt Airport

The easiest way to get to Worms is probably to fly into Frankfurt Airport and then take the train to Worms main station (Hauptbahnhof). The easiest is a connection with a change at "Mainz Süd" that leaves from Frankfurt Flughafen usually every hour at 29 past and arrives in Worms one hour six minutes later, e. g.

Frankfurt(M) Flughafen Regionalbf

Platform 3

Numerous other other train connections exist, though prices may vary.

Via air to Frankfurt Hahn

The so-called airport Frankfurt Hahn is served by numerous low-cost airlines, notably by Rianair, WizzAir and Iceland Express. Probably the best way of getting from there to Worms is either by rented car or by bus shuttle to Bingen and from there by train. Note that Frankfurt Hahn is not even anything near to the "real" Frankfurt (ca. 90 minutes drive).

Via train

Most big train connections including the night trains from Paris or the ICE Paris-Frankfurt end at Frankfurt Main Station. From there, continue onwards either via various local train connections or via Mannheim (travel time: ca. 1 hour).
