Marc: Topics for today:

Mike Pluke: Hello

Marc: 1. Stockholm: Planning

Marc: 2. EN(V) 13710

Marc: 3. (and related to that): CLDR

Marc: Any additions?

Havard: 4. Input to Forum on STD_DB

Marc: Yes, sorry for forgetting that

Marc: Target duration: again 30-35 minutes

Erkki joined

Marc: (i. e. until 10:10 or thereabouts)

Mike Pluke: Not from me. Can I request a very short timeslot in the Stockholm agenda to introduce my new ETSI work - looking at Public Internet Access Points (PIAPs). We've only had one short meetingso far, so I will mainly be explaining what we hope to do and identifying that there are cultural diversity elements.

Marc: Great, that will, of course, be noted

Marc: and added to the agenda

Marc: The topic sounds highly relevant

Havard: I shall circulate a first draft agenda this week, based on input today.

Erkki: I'll have to apologize for not having been able to work on the minority language template and the response to Lithuania.

Marc: Another (obvious) topic: Reactions from the Forum

Havard: So I will put STD_DB as a "general item" on the agenda

Marc: Erkki: No problem --- do you think you'll be able to look at these issues over the next week or so?

Marc: Havard: Agreed

Erkki: Marc: Yes. You may also have noted the discussion on the CLDR list; the last one on the EOR I submitted at the beginning of this meeting.

Erkki: Marc: Are you on the CLDR TC distribution list so that you could participate in the discussion?suCan you participate in the discussion? There is a technical comment/question for you.

Marc: Erkki: I'm currently looking at the new items --- I've last read CLDR mails yesterday afternoon

Marc: And yes, I'm on the list

Marc: Will EOR be on this afternoon's CLDR meeting?

Marc: I've looked at the agenda yesterday, but didn't spot it

Marc: the meeting should be 17:00 Brussels time?

Mike Pluke: A quick sidetrack. I'm hoping to bring my wife with me to Stockholm and extend my stay to see the city. I was wondering when people were arriving, where they are staying and whether there are any arrangements for the evening before or after the meeting?

Marc: Good news! I'll be arriving on the 14th afternoon and stay until Sunday afternoon. I stay at the Red Boat

Erkki: Marc: EOR will be discussed in to-day's CLDR TC meeting as per Mark's note. At this stage, the discussion must remain short, due to the pressure to release the Survey Tool for testing, and this doesn't have to be ready for that (since it is not handled via the Survey Tool).

Havard: I shall unfortunately have to make it a short stay; leaving on Friday afternoon/evening; I will arrive on Thursday 1615.

Erkki: Thus, we could have a get-together on Thursday night, I guess. My schedule has not yet been fixed, though.

Marc: OK --- should we arrange some Thursday evening dinner then at some suitable place (or will Jrgen look into that)

Havard: I shall look into the issue of eating in Stockholm

Marc: Good!

Mike Pluke: Excellent!

Marc: Getting back to the agenda: Are there any comments on http://wiki.cdfg.org/Revision_of_ENV13710 yet?

Havard: I think your wiki page on 13710 is fine!

Erkki: I fully agree with Havard!

Havard: Good enough as an input to Forum?

Mike Pluke: Very clear - it just needs "(give list)" in the "Reception" section to be expanded.

Erkki: I'd also add a statement on the free availability of the 14651 ant the UCA.

Havard: Does Marc have the "list" in question?

Marc: Erkki: Thanks and done

Erkki: As a side remark, you could also point out the free availability (on the net) of both the 10646 and The Unicode Standard.

Marc: Havard: I have a list. However, I'd like to add the CLDR too that list and that still needs discussion

Marc: and I have "a" list --- I'm not even nearly aware how complete or incomplete it is

Marc: Erkki: Done

Erkki: Marc: It is clear that "it will be included in CLDR 1.5" in one form or another..

Marc: Good to know --- then that should be possible to reference

Havard left

Marc: With regards to the list: What implementations to you know of?

Erkki: Marc: Will you participate in to-day's CLDR TC meeting? You need to be invited to join the on-line agenda, so join early if you can.

Marc: I've access to the agenda in google --- it's 17:00 Brussels time?

Erkki: Yes.

Marc: Then I'll try. What's the usual duration?

Erkki: One hour. These days it could be somewhat more, unless all the ST problems are taken care of.

Marc: OK

Mike Pluke: Hope to join you next week. I'll be sitting in a meeting, but it is likely to be a boring bit of the agenda in which I am unlikely to need to be active - so I should be able to "listen" to our session and participate in a low-level way.

Marc: Anything else on agenda items 1-3?

Marc: Mike: That'd be nice

Erkki: Marc: I don't think so.

Erkki: ... for now, that is.

Mike Pluke: I have nothing to add

Marc: Incidentally, I'll myself be at the Digital Ecosystems conference in Cairns next week, so I'm unlikely to be able to participate (though it might be possible)

Marc: Havard: anything on AI 4?

Marc: (Havard --- where are you?)

Erkki: (Havard left over five minutes ago.)

Marc: probably not voluntarily, I fear...

Marc: so, let's take this issue up again next week with those that can participate. We then need to finalize the input to the Forum. I strongly hope that I'll be able to put in contributions via Email early next week (if needed)

Marc: Anything else?

Mike Pluke: Not from me

Erkki: Marc: (if needed) - Yes, of course.

Erkki: Thus, bye for now.

Marc: Bye!

Mike Pluke: Bye
